• 21st July 1939 - Helmut Haller - Fine attacking talent who had great success in Italy with Bologna and Juventus. He opened the scoring for West Germany in the 1966 World Cup final and claimed the match ball,, although 30 years later he gave it to Geoff Hurst.

• 21st June 1948 - Jovan A?imovi? - The midfielder had 11 years with Red Star Belgrade and played in the 1974 World Cup for Yugoslavia.

• 21st June 1951 - Alan Hudson - One of those magnificently flamboyant English players of the 1970s. The midfielder played for Chelsea, Stoke City, Arsenal and Seattle Sounders.
