• 9th November 1944 - Herbert "Hacki" Wimmer. One of most underrated players of 1970s. The German midfielder was renowned for endless energy and running. A one-club man with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

• 9th November 1948 - Felipe Luís Scolari. A.k.a. "Big Phil".

• 9th November 1960 - Andy Brehme. Another World Cup winner, Brehme scored the winner in the 1990 final for West Germany. Attacking left-back with an eye for goal, brilliant at 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Inter.

• 9th November 1962 - Sergio Batista. Bearded legend of Argentinos Juniors in the 1980s and a World Cup winner in '86. @AAAJoficial

• 9th November 1974 - Alessandro Del Piero. A World Cup winner in 2006, and a terrific fantasista for Juventus, with more than 500 caps and 200 goals for the Old Lady.
