Miguel Tendillo Profile
Brought up through the youth team of Valencia, Tendillo was a fine centre-back made his debut in the Spanish Primera División in the 1978-1979 season. He soon carved out an important place for himself in the team, remaining there for seven years and playing over 200 games in the Spanish top tier.
In 1986 he moved to Real Murcia, and then being bought the following year by Real Madrid. With the Merengues he played five more seasons, winning the La Liga title three times, before ending his career in 1993 in the ranks of Burgos.
He made 27 appearances for the Spain national football team, making his debut in a 2-2 draw against Spain on 21 May 1980. He also participated in both the 1980 European Football Championship and the 1982 FIFA World Cup.
