- 4th January 1949 - Mick Mills - It's safe to say that with more than 500 games under his belt for Ipswich Town, along with 42 caps for England, not to mention that classic tash and hair, that this full-back is definitely a Blues legend.
- 4th January 1949 - Bwanga Tshimen - Nicknamed "The Black Beckenbauer" because of his style, he won the 1973 African Player of the Year award and appeared at the 1974 World Cup with Zaire.
