The Evolution of the Rapid Vienna Crest

The first recorded usage we can find of this Rapid Vienna crest is 1960. Obviously it features the first part of the club's name and also the famous green and white stripes that make up Rapid's iconic shirt.

The Rapid Vienna crest was altered in 1998 with the addition of three stars over the existing badge. Each of the stars represents ten Austrian Bundesliga titles, and the club had won their 30th title in the 1995-96 season.
