- 1949 - Evanivaldo Castro, aka "Cabinho". The Brazilian forward became one of the greatest goalscorers in the Mexican league in the 1970s and 1980s.
- 1960 - Walter Zenga. One of Italy's greatest keepers, winning the IFFHS award 3 times. Inter legend, playing for the Nerazzurri from 1982 to 1994.
- 1967 - Dario Hübner. Cult Italian footballer who became the oldest top-scorer in Italy when he bagged 24 goals for Piacenza in 2001-02 aged 35. Also prolific in Serie B and Serie A in the 90s with Cesena and Brescia.
- 28th April 1970 - Diego Simeone - Tenacious midfielder for Vélez Sarsfield, Pisa, Sevilla, Atlético Madrid, Inter, Lazio, Racing, and Argentina.
