Ajax Nickname(s)
- De Joden (the Jews) - this nickname is taken from the fact that Ajax's stadium, right back in the 1930s, was located near to the Jewish neighbourhood of Amsterdam-Oost. The name has stuck, despite the fact that the majority of Ajax fans aren't actually Jewish.
